Helen says in her book "If you want to win the interest of a man you must first learn what men find fascinating in women."
This is very true. Us girls see things very differently to men. We tend to look more on appearance, clothing, how pretty she is, how has she done her makeup and hairstyle, how slim and healthy looking she is and so on. All these things are good but it's not the first thing that men will look for or find fascinating in us ladies. Men think very differently in what makes a women beautiful and their opinion is the one that matters, right?
They will find the 'sparkle in her eyes, smiles, freshness, radiance and her feminine manner,' more beautiful and fascinating. Of course the ideal woman will differ in each man's eyes. Some will want a more confident, out-going and glamorous type woman where as another will want a more quite, humble and placid woman.
Helen says that some will think that the ability to cook and sew is more important and others will want a good sense of humour above that. There are so many different types of men around the world but you'll find that the same things awaken their love for a woman. These are the 'Angelic and Human Qualities' that Helen talks about in her book. We will run through them here and study each characteristic in future posts...
The ideal woman in a man's eyes is divided into two parts, the Angelic and the Human.
THE ANGELIC QUALITIES
1. Understanding Men 2. Inner Happiness
3. Worthy Character
4. Domestic Goddess
=Awakens his feelings of worship, peace and happiness
THE HUMAN QUALITIES
1. Femininity
2. Radiant Happiness
3. Radiant Health
4. Childlikeness
= Fascinates, Amuses, and Enchants him. Awakens a desire to protect & shelter
BOTH ARE ESSENTIAL TO HIS LOVE
If you have an even amount of all of these great qualities, you are, in a man's eyes, the ideal woman that he can cherish. These qualities are essential in winning any genuine love of a man. These two distinct qualities awaken different feelings in a man though. The Angelic side will awaken an almost worship like feeling and brings a man peace and happiness. The Human side fascinates and enchants him and awakens a tender feeling, a desire to protect and shelter her from harm and danger. Helen then uses different examples of the Angelic and Human characteristics in two women, Dora and Agnes, in the story of David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. You can read about these two women in her book.
